All About Our Hot Yoga Sequence: Strengthen, Stretch & Sweat It Out

Jul 2025 · 3 min read · Vanessa Flow

Looking for a Clitheroe yoga class that delivers heat, strength and stillness all in one hot and sweaty package?

Look no further.

Our HOT Yoga Sequence offers all of the above and more.

It's a set series of standing and seated postures designed to build your strength, increase your flexibility and provide a deep cardiovascular workout.

What is the HOT sequence?

The HOT Sequence is a structured flow of postures performed slowly, holding each pose for around five breaths.

This slow pace allows you to connect to your breath, activate deeper muscles and move with intention.

The set sequence gives you a consistent framework to return to each class, making it easy to track your progress over time and build confidence in your practice.

Plus, it's wrist-friendly. There's minimal time spent on your hands, so it's ideal if you're recovering from injury or simply prefer a hands-free approach to yoga.

Which yoga poses to expect in hot yoga

Expect your yoga teacher to guide you through a sequence of asanas (yoga postures), including various standing poses, balancing poses and seated poses, for example:

What makes it hot?

The room is heated to 38°C using our state-of-the-art infrared heating system.

This warms your body from the inside out, helping you to:

Far from just being about the physical, this is a yoga practice that challenges the mind, helping you stay present and centred in the moment, even when things feel intense.

A great mindset to apply to life off the mat too.

The power of breath

Breath (pranayama) is at the heart of the HOT Sequence.

You'll be guided to stay connected to your inhale and exhale throughout the practice, which supports your movement and calms your nervous system too.

Research has shown warm environments allow the body to take deeper breaths, which over time can help improve lung capacity and breath control. Another bonus.

What to expect from your HOT yoga sequence

You will sweat, a LOT. So, be sure to hydrate well before, during and after class with small sips rather than huge gulps of water.

And don't forget your towel.

Is HOT sequence right for you?

100%.

It doesn't matter whether you're brand new to yoga or a seasoned yogi looking to add something different into the mix. Hot yoga is for everyone.

It's the perfect way to develop your physical and mental resilience while giving your lungs, muscles and mindset a refresh in the process. So get yourself booked onto a class and prepare to roll out your yoga mat and join the fun.
