About the Event
Get to grips with how to confidently ride a bike on the roads.
Join a group of like-minded Yogis, relax, and enjoy the journey through the Ribble Valley Countryside by bike. Set aside your worries and be guided by a qualified "Breaking Cycles" instructor around Ribble Valley country roads, with plenty of opportunity to re-fuel, refresh and chat at Whalley Abbey for our lunch stop.
The day will start with a gentle morning yoga practice to open up the chest, ease into the thighs & connect to our balance to aid your ride. Including a lovely morning mediation to encourage us to be mindful on each sensation whist we cycle so that you can really soak up the beautiful surroundings and serenity of the atmosphere.
Karen your "Breaking Cycles" guide will then inform you on the most important road safety advice & how you can confidently ride together in a group. We'll then be ready to head out on our ride and after a leisurely lunch we will then cycle back to the studio, de-breif and head on home!
The ride is an opportunity to gain confidence, fitness and develop knowledge of routes in and around Clitheroe. The ride will be up to 3 hours including stops, time for discussions and most importantly lunch or a light refreshment at Café Autistan at Whalley Abbey.
Please note that the pace of the cycle will be adjusted to suit the needs of all riders. The aim is for a comfortable pace where conversations can be held. No one will be left behind. It is simply about enjoying the journey & being mindful whilst we enjoy the fresh air.
Bikes and helmets can be loaned, by prior arrangement, if needed.
